I’ve had many people ask me to draw them fashion designs so that they could get outfits made…but I’m not sure how much I should charge for my drawings…..Any ideas?

Do some search on the net, you should find a plenty.
e.g: Istituto Marangoni [they have a school in Paris, they're one of the best in Fashion Design, and they have summer courses]

Parsons Paris has Pre-College classes in the summer, also

hey does anyone know of any fashion stuff? Like what are the best sketch books, pencils, and color pencils to get for drawing fashion designs. Thanks

I do fashion drawings myself, and I have been accepted into a Fashion Design course. For my drawings I normally use just plain Bond paper, which is your ordinary computer printing paper. But it would be good to get a good weighted paper like in a Sketchbook. Any sketchbook is good, as long as its for pencil, or any light medium. Try and get the highest weight of paper possible, don’t go for the 90lb paper, its crappy. Go for a higher weight, 300 is supposed to be the best, but anywhere above 90lbs would be good. For pencils, I have a pencil set, that range from F to 8B, you can find it easily at a Wal-Mart, or even at Michael’s. Some people tend to use watercolor paints for colour for their figure drawings, but I’m not that talented, so I use pencil crayons, some others use pastels, or even markers. The best sort of pencil crayons would be Prism. They are the professional pencil crayons. You can get them in smaller variety, or the professional full set. It has every shade of colour, maybe not every single shade, but Alto. The last time I checked, the professional set was around $180, but it could be cheaper now. Hope this has answered your question.
