ABOUT CAMM: The CAMM College Artistique de la Mode Moderne was founded in 1989 by David Abi Khalil. The college has since then achieved a success record through the outstanding achievements of its alumni along with honorary mentions granted by the government. The diploma granted by the school is certified by the government. Students who have their baccalaureate degree or its equivalent (Technical Baccalaureate 3), will receive a diploma of superior technician (TS) certified by the state. Those who don’t have their baccalaureate will receive a special diploma certified by the state. ABOUT THE FOUNDER: www.davidabikhalilcouture.com David Abi Khalil, the founder of CAMM, was the first pattern maker in the Middle East. At the age of 14, he discovered a passion for embroidery working at his uncle’s workshop. To further hone the skills he acquired from his experience, he took some courses in fashion design on a long distance learning program in Paris. In 1965, he opened his first workshop, Ets David Abi Khalil for Embroidery and Pleated. He was only 15 years old.
