Come see something different in Corpus! “Art in the Raw” kicks off at The Venue at House of Rock on Friday, Sept. 25th – live painted bodies, live music, swimsuit fashion show and nonprofits! Local artists & models come together to support awareness of environmental issues by: * showcasing models who bare nothing by hand-painted artworks representing green organizations; * presenting a swimsuit fashion show with designs created out of post-consumer recycled materials. All artwork on models represent local and non-local environmental organizations, and all proceeds will go to fund those organizations.

Urban Jungle fashion show at The Kennedy SoHo in Tampa, FL, on Saturday, June 18, 2011 by Prive Events. Hosted by Ann Poonkasem. This was a really cool show, and the three photographers that I met, along with all of the models, were really cool. On a technical note, I shot this with a Nikon L10, which is why the sound is not great. The video is cool, though, especially noting that I had to hold the camera up and shoot this freehand for over 30 minutes! You could say that a diet of photography and video games has given me a steady hand, good hand-eye coordination, and endurance, although my arm was killing me when this was over. Please note that I am not affiliated with Prive Events or the Kennedy in any way, and I was a guest who was on the list because of my model friend. I like their work, though, as well as the club!
