I had great memories of this toy from my own childhood so bought it for my 4 year old daughter. It is very difficult to get a good outline (especially of the face) using the included crayons. Also it is difficult to close the cover that keeps the paper in place. Perhaps an older child would be able to play with this independently but I found myself doing most of this for my daughter as she would get frustrated with the above mentioned issues. Still fun but not quite what I was hoping for.

I bought this for my six-year-old daughter because I had fashion plates when I was a kid. This is a very poor knockoff of the classic toy. The classic worked, and was good for hours of fun. Using this version, the rubbings are barely visible, and the paper slides and the plates move around as you try to make them. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

I remember a toy like this when I was young except there were more subjects to design than just women’s clothing. It kept me busy for hours. This toy is more organized and has many options for girls to fantasize about. The ability to outline the figure isn’t as clear as it seems but I think with a little practice a 6+ yo could really spend a lot of time imagining.

I had one of these as a child. Loved it. Bought one for my daughter, she barely played with it. It’s an okay toy. If you have a child under 8 that is creative and likes to spend their time making things I would recommend this.

Extremely disappointed in the quality, not sure if it’s going to even work, I’m afraid my daughter will be disappointed at this toy.
